Model 11 20 gauge

Post by Brtvll3 »

SN 1063088 Belongs to my 97 year old mother in law who received it on her 14th birthday. Can someone tell me the manufacture date and any other information. Thank you so much.

type this into your favorite internet search engine "remington date code." Then reference the chart. Incase you didn't know, the home page of this website has the date code chart.

The left of your barrel close to where it meets the receiver will have a 2-3 letter code. That's how you'll determine the month and year it was produced.

The Model 11 20-gauge was introduced in 1930. Serial numbers began at 1000000. The receiver with serial number 1063088 was put in work during February 1941 according to the old factory ledger.
