Earlier this year I posted about the tin plating I've seen on some military R-B's. Well, here's another one I recently purchased. I'm pretty sure it's a Spanish version possibly used by the French. The receiver is tinned but the barrel is blued. All the bands have what I think is the Spanish crown and on the receiver is what I think may be a French Crown. On the right barrel flat is a stamp that's hard to make out. I think it's chambered for the 43 Reformado cartridge. Both the sling swivels have patent dates stamped on them. This one is interesting to me as only the receiver is plated, all the others I've seen the whole gun was tin plated.
Opinions?

Re: TINNED MILITARY ROLLING BLOCKS.
What are the tang markings on this rifle? Is the breechblock concave at the bottom or flat?
Re: TINNED MILITARY ROLLING BLOCKS.
Here is the tang markings and there's a strange stamp on the hammer also. The bottom of the breechblock is flat.
