A freind, was telling me these guns were made with poor quality steel compared to the 1860 Colts Ect.
Now my thinking that a Solid frame Remington 1858 would be Much stronger than and open top Colt.
Was there any Recorded problem of the Steel Remington used.
I was under the Impresion that next to the Rogers and Spencer the Remingtons were next in strength.
Not sure what year it was made yet.
