I need to know if a remington 1100 magnum can be converted to reg. shells. The magnum shell is 3" long while a reg. shell is 2 1/4" long. A norm. shell fits the barrel correctly and ejects properly. The shorter shell will not disengage the bolt on the reload. I can elongate the disconnecting fork but will the shell feed correctlly? If anyone can point me in the correct direction I would be thankfull. Thanks.
