new model army serial number

Post by john hamilton »

My 1863 New Model Army has the s/n 96503. Are there any records of it? It has a number of inspectors' initials and the Ainsworth cartouche. Thanks. John Hamilton

Did I ask the question incorrectly? It seems that others have received an estimate of the manufacture data. Thanks.

Your Gun Was made in the late summer of 1864. You asked the Question right you just didn't give us time to answer and cleared it by asking the second question. Jay Huber RSA
