The 7mm Barrel only fits the Number 5 (1897/1902/1910) smokeless action. It is intentionally larger in diameter than those barrels for use in the Number 1 action used in the .43 Spanish etc. If you can't use the 7mm barrel and it's in good shape internally, I'd like to buy it from you. If you have a copy of the Remington Military Rolling Blocks by Layman, the barrel diameter is mentioned there. I can't help on the shotgun barrels.
