New member here, with an urgent question:
I have a 1946 M31 in 16 gauge. It has a repaired crack in the buttstock that looks well-done, but I've been searching for a spare stock to put away "just in case". Found one, post-1941, but from a Model 31L. Is it compatible with my steel framed gun? Seems like it should, but I'd like to know before I put out the money for it. I'd be grateful for any help you can provide.
