I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF THERE IS ANY INFORMATION ON THE ROLLING BLOCKS THAT REMINGTON SOLD IN THE LATR 1990'S IT CAME IN A CUSTOM GUN CASE W LONG RANGE SITES IN 45-70

I don't have time to look back through my catalogs, but I did search through some of the digital ones I downloaded from Remington.

Here are a few descriptions I've copied and am pasting here:

2003 catalog (two listings)

Rolling Block Mid-Range Sporter Remington Rolling Block. American walnut stock, satin blue Mid-Range Sporter metal finish, buckhorn rear and blade front sight. 30”, round carbon-steel barrel.
Available options include single set trigger; semi-fancy American walnut stock with steel Schnabel fore-end tip and steel butt plate; and case-colored receiver.

Rolling Block Meets NRA black powder cartridge rifle (BPCR) silhouette requirements. 30” heavy barrel chambered Silhouette Rifle for 45-70 Government cartridge. Button-rifled at 1 turn in 18” twist rate. Single set trigger. Furnished with dovetail cuts in barrel for front sight but no sights supplied.


2005 catalog

No. 1 Rolling Block Silhouette American Walnut 30" / 1.125" 11 1/2 BPCR silhouette requirements. 45-70 caliber only. Options available.
No. 1 Rolling Block Mid-Range Sporter American Walnut 30" / .81" 8 3/4 45-70 caliber only. Options available.
