no. 5 7mm roller carbine
no. 5 7mm roller carbine
I just got a no. 5 roller carbine in 7mm, and I can't find a whole lot of info. about it. It's a saddle ring carbine, three line address , 1901 model.Basically I would like to know if it's for real or if someone just raided the parts bin. The bore is OK but all the wood is loose I'm a shooter, not a collector, so if I HAVE to replace some of the wood (and I can find it) I will. This is my first post on the site. So if I got some of the nomenclature wrong I tried.

Hi There,
I'm surprised that no one has responded to your
post by now. The model 1902 (a.k.a. 1901) was
available as a rifle and as a carbine. If you could
post some pictures, it would be of help with
identification.
Good Luck!

Re: no. 5 7mm roller carbine
Here are some photos of my rolling block carbine that I had saved on my computer. This carbine is a cross between the Model 1897 and the Model 1902. I will try to dig my Model 1902, 7mm carbine out of the back of the gun safe this weekend and take some photos of it.
Have a Good Day,
Matt
