Model 700 age

Post by Censslin »

On a model 700 is LF 59; serial number B6674883, what year was this made?

What does the LF 59 mean?

This is a 22-250 REM

This link should tell you.

Clues........
The "B" prefix in the serial number would indicate that it's in the early 1980s. ( "A" prefix is late 1970s, "C" prefix is late 1980s )

"L F" would indicate it was February of 1985.
The "59" is probably an assembly or inspector's stamp.
