Does anyone know where to purchase a wood case for the 1858 model Remington?
Found a few on the internet, but $200 seems a lot.
Any info would be appreciated
Thanks
Mike

Mike,
If you were able to find an original Remington wooden box for a New Model Army you would have to add at least one zero to your 200 dollars. The only ones I have ever seen were salesman samples.

I'll add here if you want original looking, look for old jewelry boxes on ebay, this is what all the frauds do ![Wink ;)](./images/smilies/icon_wink.gif)

I found a guy in Indiana, that makes the same cases, as you see on Ebay, and some of the gun site, that sell
for $125+. He makes them himself, and sells them for $40. This is the deal of the century. Only issue is - -
he doesn't make them until he is paid by Paypal, or debt. It takes 10 - 14 business days to get. Goggle
"Hampel's woodland products" It is a great deal for what your getting.
