7615 Help

Post by urbandiesel »

Hello,

I recently purchased a 7615 and after taking it home and racking the pump with out a magazine a plate had slide forward in the bottom of the bolt area. After reviewing the manual this looks to be the Shell stripper plate. Is this normal for this plate to slide around without a magazine inserted?

This is a brand new gun and want to find out about it before firing.
Thanks,

Rick

Urban,
I think the reason that no one answered so far is because we don't know what the stripper plate is. I believe that the bolt strips the cartridge from the clip. If the piece is plastic , then it might be the bolt cover. Check if the bolt cover is in place when you close the action.
