Can you tell me if Remington made a 270 Carbine with the basket weave forend and monte carlo stock??

None were cataloged, so you have the classic question---who made it. If you could post the exact barrel stamping of the Remington name and patent numbers that is stamped on the barrel, also the date code, that would be helpful. The s/n is a few hundred beyond the "B" range for the 760. If I had a basket weave rifle, I would see if a 270 carbine barrel from 1960-1963 would fit and function.
