Phillip R. Haskell

Does anyone have any history on Phillip R. Haskell?
(where he lived, when he died, etc.) I have a friend
who has a gun made on a Remington template,
but only has P.R. Haskell and S/N 501. It
appears to be a .30 cal. We're just trying to
get some history on it.
