Remington Model 11 Buttplate

Post by Dustman47 »

Does anyone know what buttplate design Remington was using on the Model 11, "The Sportsman" in 1934?
It would be after the Remington UMC logo period and would be "Remington Arms Co." by then but don't know what buttplate logo was in use.

Thanks for any help.

Thanks for the help. I figured that it was that pattern but didn't know whether it was the one with the patent information below "Remington" or the one with the circled letter "R" for registered trademark. I have a nice " "Sportsman" with a later added recoil pad that is uncut other than to flatten the butt area from the original slight concave.
