I own a WW1 model 10 trench gun
I'm trying to pin down the month and year it was made.
No letter prefix do pre 1921
1399XX

According to the Remington Repeating Shotgun/Model 1908/Model 10 serial number chronology published in the 2nd Quarter 2015, issue of The Remington Collector's Journal, 1399xx would be of 1915 vintage.
