I have a Remington 1100 model L952109V the barrel is 27.25" it takes a 2.75" or smaller shell the wood stock is beautiful, the shotgun has been taken care of well, I am trying to find a price for it, any one can tell me approximately the cost of the gun or how would I go about finding out the price?

It is a 12 gauge 2-3/4" late first generation Model 1100 manufactured (probably) in 1977, with a nominal 28" barrel. The choke should be marked on the left side of the barrel back near the receiver. If it is anything other than a field model it should say so on it. Over 2 million first gen guns were built, so it is not rare, but it is very good.
Best gauge on pricing is to look for same model, similar condition guns in completed auctions on GunBroker. Range appears to me to be between $250 and $500.
What could have happened... did.
