HELP with a 3200

Post by dinosaur »

Trying to findout about a 3200 SN 74298. A 30 in Trap. engraved with gold ducks on one side, pheasants on the other and a single gold quail on the bottom of the receiver, great wood. The original owner purchased the gun in Germany. My questions are: what grade is it and how many were made? Thanks for any help.

Remington had a 1 of 500 International and Pigeon Grade variation. 116 of these were engraved by Fissette of Belgium with a few having gold inlays. No serial numbers were listed in the records. The 4th Q 2008 RSA Journal had an article on engraved Remingtons and had a table showing 3 3200s engraved in 1980. This total did not include display, presentation and retirement engraved 3200s.

If possible please post some pictures.
