Can anyone help me? I'm new to this and tying to figure out what I have, when was it made, and what it's worth?

You have a Remington model 12 that someone has removed all the finish off the metal. The 12 was made from 1909 to 1936. I can not make out your serial no.but it looks like a low one so yours maybe a early one. We can not give accurate values without personally seeing the gun.

Thank You..... here are some more photos with numbers. Can you give me a ballpark? I'm not sure what I want to do with it, keep it or sell it.

According to Remington records, your M/12C was made in 1911. The condition of the bore is important. Are the parts all original? Is the action still tight? These type of questions can only be answered by having the gun in-hand, so any value would be a guess. The M/12 is not a rare Remington .22, so don't get your hopes too high. I suggest you look at the internet auctions and see what the asking and/or selling price is for one similar to yours.
