I just picked up a very nice 141 Rem. in 35 cal. manufactured 1939. I plan to load 200gr RN bullets. Does anyone have a favorite powder/primer combo for this rifle?

I know this is an old post, but if you are listening, I have a model 8 and a model 81 I use 34gr. of IMR 3031 with a fed. 210 primer with a 200gr. boolit. they are both tack drivers with that load,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

I am trying to reload 35 Remington with a Lee Perfect Powder Measure, but it does not seem to dispense powder very consistently with extruded powders IMR3031 & IMR4064.
What powder measures do you all use for extruded powders?

What weight variation do you observe? I use a RCBS measure with good results. However if I want extremely consistent results the powder for each round is weighed.

Example: trying to load 35 grains using my Lee Perfect Powder Measure, sometimes I am short 1 to 2 grains! Tapping the unit sharply will sometimes release some of the "stuck" extruded powder, but I don't always get my full 35 grains.
Perhaps I should consider flake or granular powder if I want to use this Lee unit.
I am now back to my old powder dipper, which works, but limits my charge weights to the dippers I have.

Have not had that kind of issue with the Lee measures I have . Not unusual to vary by a few tenths but not whole grains . Have had that issue with a Hornady measure , never been able to get it to throw decent loads with any powder. Add a digital or beam scale to your dippers and dribble to final weight .
