REMINGTON MODEL 8

I recently inherited this Remington. I believe it is a model 8 Class D engraved by HKN, serial number #21969, chambered in 35. Any information would be greatly appreciated

You are one lucky guy to inherit that beautiful model 8. If your still out there on this website what are the alpha numeric letters on the barrel near the receiver? Beautiful! One lucky guy!
