Newbie Member here & Greetings all,
Being a rookie, I wanted to have a veteran Remington guy confirm that I am interpreting the date of manufacture codes correctly on this Model 760 Carbine in .30-06. I have attempted to attach a photo of the codes. I believe the letter D indicates the month of September, the letter G indicates 1960 as the year & 44 is the assembly or assembly person. Are my interpretations of the barrel codes correct ? Thanks a million for your insight !
