Adjusting sights on Model 512

I've inherited my Dad's Model 512 Sportmaster (Jan 1948 mfg date code). At 25 yards, my grouping is about 4:30PM and 2" from center. How to adjust front sight?? It does not want to move.

This rifle was designed to shoot "targets" at 50 feet and not 25 yards. Try it at the proper distance and you will probably have better results. The added bonus is that once the rifle is sighted in a 50 feet, it will also be "spot on" at 50 yards.............one of the ironies of .22 long rifle ballistics. You should also use only standard velocity ammunition. Hope this helps.
