DUPLICATE SERIAL NUMBERS

Post by CALIBRE44 »

Authors and collectors have discussed Remington Revolvers made in batches.
Does anyone have proof of this? I believe they were referencing large frame models................Jim

I guess that depends on what the definition of proof is ;)

There are certainly many examples of duplicate numbers not only in the 1975 but also in the derringers such as the
"two-line" and some of the other variations prior to UMC.
The 1888 is just a c... shoot other then the added assembly number (hopefully that's the correct term) and 1890's were unique.

I'd drop Littlefield a email, he has one heck of a database on that mac, I suspect your answers are there.
