Hi all! Thanks for allowing me to be a part of this forum. I'm a big lover of Remington firearms! My grandfather bought a Remington model 81 in 1946 topped with a Williams side mount and a Lyman Alaskan scope. That rifle has taken well over 100 bucks with everyone that has used it not to mention A few bears and coyotes. Anyway, that's how my Remington sickness began. I also have my great grandfathers model 8 from 1925. I'm going to buy a Remington model 740 and I know they don't have a great history for being accurate. I've been given a accuracy block and told they help. My question is do they really help and do you have any other ideas. Thanks so much!
