Vintage Remington 22 Cal Poster

I am trying to locate the original artist of a vintage Remington 22 Cal Repeating Rifle poster. My Grandfather lived in upstate NY and I have an original oil painting that he did that is the picture on the poster. Just trying to figure out if my Grandad did the artwork for Remington as his profession was sign painting. He was also an avid hunter so he may have just liked the poster and decided to paint the picture himself. If anyone can help me with my search, I would really appreciate it. I can email photos of the poster and the painting to help figure it out. Thanks!
