Remington sportsman

I have an old sportsman 689,288-710,094-730,870-812,326. Like all other posts but my # is 419327. And looks a bit different than pics I've seen. One bird each side, 12 gage 2 3/4 or smaller shells full choke, 28" barrel or possibly longer will not fit in a 52" case? Very odd! Anyone with some advice thoughts or answer please help! Was my grandfathers from WWII ! No s in front of the numbers not 11 model a three shot mag.

My guess it was made in 1939. What do you want to know about it? There should be a date code on the barrel.
