Copy of a Remington over under derringer

Post by Patbar »

I have a copy of a Remington over under derringer and I can't figure where it was manufactured. There isn't any marking on it, except a "2" between the barrels (.41 caliber but not rifled). No proof marks either, which means that it was not made in Europe.

Please note that the bullet extractor is on the same side that the barrels lock, which is what defers most from the original.

I suspect this little gun could have been made in Mexico. Could anyone confirm this or give me a clue about its origin ?
