DOM

I see from the Forum that lists exist on the DOM of some the Army models.
Are the any lists for the Navy's, Police and pocket models?.......Jim

Don Ware's book on the Army and Navy revolvers has serials of the Navy models. I am not aware of any other serial lists for any other models.

Unfortunately no. He was only able to record the numbers of the government contract guns. His highest is 33,600 made Dec. 1865. Remington made the Navies into the 1870s, most made as cartridge models, most in 38 rf, but some were made in 38 cf. I have seen numbers in the 42,xxx and 43,xxx range and they were all conversions. Is your Navy still percussion or a cartridge model?
