Yet another 1858 serial number question
I have a .44 Remington model 1858, serial no. 102589, any info will be welcomed.

Hi,
The only thing I can tell you is it was manufactured in October of 1864. If it is a martial revolver it was shipped to the Government that month.

I just acquired a New Model Army Serial Number 102840 ... only about 250 units away from yours !
Mine ended up in California!
Did you ever find out any more history about yours ?
