I'm English and from a family of gunmakers going back to 1839 at least. Realised recently what I know about vintage guns is all about British and European makers and that can't be right. Seems to me it is difficult to understand the history of the development of fire-arms without some knowledge of what was going on on both sides of the pond. So I'm here to learn about Remington and share other knowledge if I can.
