Gallery Special model 12

Post by Ghostrider »

I purchased a Gallery Special this week and have a few questions. The serial number 1888xx I believe was made in 1914 is this correct? Also it is a straight grip. Most guns I have seen are pistil grip. Is this grip less common? Gun is is very nice condition, but the bore has some pitting. Would it be worth reliving?
Thanks for your input.

No 1913.

Only if you have no concern over value, in very nice condition relining the barrel will destroy collector value.

Thank you for the information. Can you tell me how common the straight grip Gallery Guns are, are there surviving records for these guns, and what year the Galley gun was first produced?

Thanks Phil
