Anyhoo...Please see my post in post-1898 Remington rifles "Possible early Model 12? HELP!" for my inquiry regarding two inherited pieces I acquired in a closet clean-out. Been seeing Remington listings here with 6 digits, but mine has 5 numbers only, so I'm hoping for good news from the experts here, thank you.
