just want to introduce me as the new old cowboy from the old world.
I'm not one of the young guys; I'm in my 60th but always was very strong interested in cowboys and the old west. Since more then 40 years I'm active in cowboy reenactment in Germany and since 2002 I'm also active in cowboy action shooting. With some friends I have founded a CAS club in Germany in 2003 and I was in New Mexico for the silver anniversary of SASS. Since 2004 I'm a SASS life member. Beside CAS and shooting classic western guns I collect these guns and all cowboy related items.
I have a few pre 1898 Remington guns in my collection. Other then with Colt or Winchester guns it is not easy to find information about year of manufacture and other details of these guns. I have a few books about Remington but I don't find what I'm searching for. My hope is that I can get some support from Remington collectors which are also members here.
