Newbie from the Tarheel State

Post by ceadermtnboy »

I stumbled onto this Forum while researching an 1894 shotgun that I just purchased. Looks like a very knowledgable group of gun nuts like myself! I think that I have a good find , a late 1910 shotgun , with a 26 & 28 (2 barrel set) both matching rest of shotgun. It looks to be a small frame 12 gauge A with extractors and RF barrels, now the interesting part is it came with a wooden case, with no padding, and looks plain but customized for the set. The gentleman that I bought if from picked it up in New York. I was thinking it may be a salesman sample kit because the barrel that the forearm does not attach to is almost brand new , and the rest of the gun while excellent show some handling wear. It also seems like it was not fired hardly?

Anyway, I look forward to learning from you guys !
