Remngton RH38 and RH40 fix blades

How 'bout a look at the Remington fix blade hunting knife? RH38 & RH40. The RH40 is a rare and difficult knife to find and the RH38 is near mint with original sheath.

Lorna- A Time of Renewal

Every now and then I like to share a personal knife story as in this experience. Some folks have an itch that requires scratching every now and then...some more than others. The itch to which I refer is the need or desire to watch other people. You might find them sitting on a bench in a mall gossipi...

A Time to Remember...

Years ago, as a young boy like so many others, I loved to go fishing. I had three local ponds that I stalked and was at them nearly every day just as soon as I could get off the bus after school. Went at the break of dawn every Saturday and if Daddy said we weren't going to church on Sunday morning...

Remington advertising knives

Did you know... Not only did Remington produced the Nehi lady's leg knife for Nehi's promotional catalog but they also produced a boy's scout knife for Nehi as well! The knife is noteworthy because it is not a commonly found knife and not one that most associate with the Nehi drink making it a fair...

Re: Ink stamped pattern numbers where's the true documentati

After research and investigation I think I have an answer to my own question and in part will provide a short explanation. In the 1930's the majority of stocks/shares of the Remington cutlery division was sold to and under the control of DuPont. During the trials and tribulations of The Great Depre...

Re: Remington UMC building on Boston Ave Bridgeport

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0WJt_WO1DUw I put together a video of the map and area you are writing about. Click on the URL and it will load the video. Hope it helps. This cartography is very rare and from 1917 G.M. Hopkins Atlas of Bridgeport Connecticut. Not a reproduction or copy. Fascinating a...

Re: Freedom of Speech v/s Censorship

As a reply to my own post I wish to extend my apologies to club leadership and members for my previous comments. All has been reconciled and my apologies given to Mr. Marcot. Just to forward information, I have now received all journals for 2014 and I have renewed my 2015 membership and recommend ot...

Freedom of Speech v/s Censorship

** This post was edited by the author** Let me speak with some civility. I "do" like and very much enjoy the Remington journals however, I am "not" a collector of guns or rifles but a "heavy" collector of Remington cutlery and other Remington items. I love and admire Re...

Re: Member's review and renewal of membership

George, As expected you were very circumscribed in your responses, however you did not provide answers to my concerns. You've spoken to me and to the others readers as if I were a novice at club membership, my insight, awareness and or knowledge of volunteer supported club activities, responsibiliti...
