Re: Remington wins 1900 (First) GAH at Targets

Drew, in the first paragraph it's talked about different trap machines and lay out. Do you have any more info on the lay out ? Guess I'm a little thick headed and don't understand everything about the lay out and how the program was shot. Thanks for any help.

Re: The Remington Hammerless Raises Records

Drew, thank you. I shoot a C grade but it's not a trap gun. My three trap guns are F grades [ and a Parker SBT C grade ]. I really enjoy any of the old writings about trap shooting and Remingtons.

Re: Lapeer Michigan 2019 SxS Shoot

I'd like to thank everyone who attended. The weather was nice and we had a decent crowd - about 50 shooters. A 83/106 won the SCs shoot. Ken Hobday shot it. Thanks again. Paul

Re: 1873 whitmore price check

You might try some Hoppies 9 bore cleaner. I've heard of guys rubbing the barrels with this over a number of days and cleaned the barrels. JMHO, you made a good buy. I have around nine Remington SxSs and the 73 is my favorite because it's the only American made SxS with that type of opener and it's ...

Lapeer Michigan 2019 SxS Shoot

It's May 11th, 9AM to 9 PM. A little different this year. We'll have 106 birds at SCs. It will be $45 at the door, $35 if paid at least one week in advance. Extra rounds are $25, all other games, Pigeon Ring, Longbird, 5-stand, skeet or trap are $5. You must pay for the SCs to be able to shoot any s...

RB peep sight ?

I recently bought a 43 Spanish military RB. My friend cut the barrel to about 26," thus removing the bayonet lug, and reshaped the forearm. He cut a dovetail for a front globe sight which I installed. The rear peep sight was bought from Brownells - their " Creedmore long range " sight...

Model 11 fiber washer ?

I've owned a couple of M-11s but never knew about the fiber recoil washer in the receiver before. I also had at one time copied from the net how to adjust the gun for different strength shells. I can't find it or where I had copied it from. Can someone help me with the information on how to take the...

From the front trigger. I couldn't post because there was only 23 characters, not 40. Guess I'm at 40 now.

I just saw the reference to a single trigger when reading some articles on Drews site. I don't know anything else.

Remington single trigger used for targets 1902

Rolla A. Heikes “The Great and Only” of Dayton, Ohio. Heikes was the first industry representatives in 1885, with the LeFever Gun Co., then used a L.C. Smith. In 1895-96, Heikes participated in 67 tournaments (despite having malaria in the summer of 1895) and was high gun in 60 using a Winchester 18...

Re: 1894 FE Grade

You're no different than 90% of the trap shooters - they do whatever they want to a gun so it shoots better for them. Conn. Shotgun sells a solid red recoil pad - one 1" thick and a second 1 1/2" thick along with pads like yours. I have a couple of theirs on my guns. Are you happy with the...
