Where did you see this 20/28 conversion. I saw one in SC a while back and fell in love with it. It had been professionally reblued and the wood had been refinished. It turned out beautiful. If it is reasonable I might try and purchase it.

Re: 1100 feeding issues
While you are at it you should clean the action spring tube in the stock and replace the spring. The spring is not very expensive. I use a wire brush in the tube and a light coat of light grease inside. BC

Re: Model 32
You might give Laib's Gunsmithing a call. They are 3200 specialists, but have been a great help finding parts for my 1100s. Give them a call at 320/796-2686. Both Pat laib and Tom Fox are truly nice people. BC

Re: Model 1100 20ga standard
Sorry I didn't get back sooner on this topic. I talked to the people at Laibs. He suggested using a 16ga instead of a 12ga. I laid a 16ga and the broken 20ga side by side and one hammer stroke later I was back in business. thanks for the help. BC

Sounds like the link was put back upside down. The curve goes up. You will need to disassemble the gun and check it. hope this helps.

Re: Model 1100 20ga standard
Thanks, My gunsmith/machinist friend said he believed the same thing. I keep 12ga feed latches on hand. I shoot skeet competively in both 12 and 20ga. Always carry a spare and a tool box.
Thanks for all the valuable info you give so freely.

Model 1100 20ga standard
Does anyone know of a source for a feed latch for a model 1100, 20ga standard. I have several guns, but I want to exhaust all the resourses before making a parts gun out of one of them.
