I saw your video last night. That serial number as found under the barrel was also applied to the frame, trigger guard, back of cylinder, and also on both grips (in pencil). The "RM" stamps look similar to those seen on Remington and Colt cartridge guns that were later sold to Mexico 1870'...

Yes, I bought a Rem M1875 part from John Tarca, but that was 15 years ago. I tried his old phone number, but think that number is no longer current. I need his phone number for a quick question.
