aproximate date of my .30 rem 14A w serial number
Hello Im looking to get an aproximate date of my 14a. the seial number is 84699 with a C above it. Has a Marbles folding rear sight, a Lyman r14 reciever peep sight, a brush gaurd and a unusual liberty pistol grip cap made of bronze or copper. And a steel butt plate.

Mine has a marbles flip down sight that I believe was an option.

Hello everyone. New to this forum and hoping I could possibly get a couple questions answered. I aquired a model 14a .30 rem at an estate auction some time ago and am wondering if anyone can ID the pistol grip cap. And if it had any meaning or was used to ID a certain group (Law enforcement etc)or i...
