Re: recipe for 25 REM
Oh yes, IMR not the "H", sorry. I've been using a lot of H4895 in loads since I bought an 8#er in it! I appreciate your post!

Re: 30 REM light loads
Jim,
Do you anneal the brass? If so, has it helped preserve the brass?

Re: 30 REM light loads
Good stuff there, Jim. My son asked me why I picked up on this 25 and 30 REM instead of something modern, 25-06 I suppose. I can't really answer that logically as it just seems more fun to fool with these historical pieces. I just got 60 rounds of 25 REM RN from Buffalo that shot fine. I didn’t have...

Re: 30 REM light loads
Sorry Jim, I stuttered there! Thank you again for this information. I am a novice at reloading but really enjoying the ride, so far! I have a couple of 25 Rem's but want to try this 30 REM and a little lighter punch on the shoulder will be encouraging! You sound like a very interesting fellow and I'...

30 REM light loads
What recipe should I use for a light shooting Model 8 30-30 or Model 14 in 30 REM? My old recipe book calls for HiVel2, long gone! Thanks in advance.

Re: recipe for 25 REM
I thank you gentlemen. I am a newbe at this pistol/rifle reloading and appreciate your recipes and advise. I am learning a lot on these model 8/81 and 14's. Ain't this Reminton Society a great organization. Wish I could be in Vegas for the annual meeting!

Just to the Ohio Gun Collectors this last Saturday and full boxes (condition less than yours) they were asking 90 bucks a box and would not move from that! Wow!

Re: recipe for 25 REM
Thank you, Jim! Where do I find a 117 grain RN bullet? The sites I see say "out of stock" no back orders either? Any ideas?
25-35 uses the same recipe, right?
I appreciate your help to this novice.

recipe for 25 REM
I am a shot shell reloader for decades but never tried pistol/rifle reloading until I bought a Model 8 25 REM. Now I'm hooked on 25 REM so I have to feed a Model 14, 25 REM, too. I have 25 REM brass (thanks Chip) but need a safe load. I will appreciate your experience and advise!
