am i the only one around with a model 9?

I was recently given my great grandfathers remington single barrel break action 12 guage. My dad got it after his dad died, and doesnt know much about it. I have been looking for information but haven't found much. Im thinking it is a model 9. Does anyone know where i can find any information?
