Re: 572 followed me home

I don't think I have seen this sight on anything. Gun does not have either barrel screw in receiver or s/n. Thinking it is an early one. Stamped with M Shame some one refinished the stock below the metal. Solved my own mystery. Gun came from a Mosberg collector. There is a broken sight screw in the ...

Re: Model 12A

Jim I was convinced before I asked the question. I shot nothing but remington target standard velocity until it got to where i didn't know wether it was going to fire. I see no reason to over stress an old gun. My mod 12 just apears strong enough that is why I asked what it's weaknesses were. I had ...

Re: Model 12 Oddity?

BAMO
Remington parts list shows what you are concerned about is a bushing. Maby ur expert refinisher took a file to it when he refiniashed the gun.

Re: Finally! A Model 600 of my own! sort of..............

My 600 not only came with swivels it also came with a strap. You might want to go back and look through the guys stuff if it is still there. I will take a picture if you need to see it. Both of my 350s will shoot into one hole as long as you can handle the noise and recoil.

Model 24 date codes

I have a model 24 that is about 90% it has the code { wYY3cc? } I have a picture of the friend who gave it to me at 8 years old holding the rifle and a dead rabbit in 1937. He thinks his father may have sent it to Remington at some time but does not know when and what for. All numbers match and gun ...
