Re: Forend Support 1100 LT-20
You do not have a 1967 LT-20. They didn't come out until 1977. There is no rear fore end support on an LT/LW 20 ga. 1100. The fit of the fore end on the magazine tube and two reliefs cut to fit the receiver on the rear are supposed to do it. Taking some masking tape to the inside of the hole in the ...

Re: Model 11 with brass pins on receiver, Polychoke
I have only seen that once before. It was on a WWII era Model 11 that Navy Special Services had as a loaner back in the '60s. The gun had been used to teach aerial gunnery, had an odd attachment that had been on the fore end to mount it I guess, and had Lyman screw on choke tubes. The pins didn't se...

Re: 20ga Barrel Seal Activator (not an O ring)
If the action will close normally with the activator installed, it wont hurt anything because it is not blocking gas flow to the relief ports, because there aren't any. Unlikely to solve your issue. Rather than drilling the ports, first I would try "wallowing" out the ports, one at a time,...

Re: Shotgun Butt Stock contours 870, 1100, 1187 etc
Remington changed the checkering style but not the basic stock contours in 1979. Then in 1987 with the 11-87, they started introducing a different stock finish. Throughout the 90s they started making changes to various models. They tried to kill off the 1100, unsuccessfully. They started with differ...

Re: Remington 11-87 Bolt not locking rearward
#1 suspect, a bent carrier latch. Possibly caused by someone dropping the hammer on the trigger group out of the gun. Gun should still function okay otherwise. Good luck if you try bending it back.

I have never seen a pre-shaped pad perfectly fit a Remington wood stock, on any model.

Barrel has been cut. Not a factory bead. Check the choke.

If not using it, I would remove it. Liable to bind on the action bars.

Re: Ken Rucker’s Bump-Buster Stock and Forearm
As long as the fore end fits snug, you can get by without the fore end support. The LW/LT 20s do not employ a fore end support.

I don't know what they are doing. They have been slow to "ramp up" production on anything but the Fieldmaster.

I do not believe RemArms is making spare bbls yet. Check ebay, GunBroker, etc. They are out there at elevated prices.

Re: 1100 - which model is this?
It is a standard second generation Model 1100. If it was a SKEET model, it should say so. Serial # and barrel(s) info would be helpful. Looks to be in good shape. $600 to $750.
