Re: M-700 BDL Clip Conversion...Is it worth the hassle?
If ammo is as delicate as delicate as charlie says how can they handle being shot. Now dont get me wrong keeping ammo clean and dry is the best you can do, but he makes them sound like precious eggs. Just try to unload that clip at the end of the hunt without handling them. Its just everyones opinio...

Re: 1965 Model 700 Custom???
A hart barrel is an aftermarket barrel. You say yours has the REP remington mark. The hart stamp is just a stamp of one of the gallery employees that worked for Remington. If you say you have an aluminum butt plate then you have a early 60s gun. The stock should have impressed checkering with little ...

Re: 1965 Model 700 Custom???
I doubt it is a custom shop rifle. I would say in the good ole days you could pick out 10 of the same make and model Remington 700s and all in the same caliber, and all ten of them would look differant. In the good ole days they used alot better and nicer wood. Now days they all pretty much look the...

Re: remington 700 270 wsm
Ive never been a fan of the 270, but probably for very silly reasons. If I were going to buy one though I would just buy the standard 270 for ease of finding ammo. You never know when you might be in a fickle and need to find ammo, and it will be easier to find standard 270s then WSM. Good luck and ...

Re: Remington bolt action sporting models
This will start alot of arguments, but honestly tell me a better bolt action hunting rifle. The 6.5 and the 350 is all you need for ANYTHING in this country. And with good bullet placemant anything in the world.

Re: Remington bolt action sporting models
You have a pretty long list in the .22 section alone. Centerfires you have what you listed plus 600s, 660, 788, the 03 A3, , 40x, Model 30, Model 30 express,Model 610, Model 611, When would you want me to stop. If you collected one of everything you would have a nice collection. Good luck and I hope...

It sounds like you have early 50s boxes unless there is a child warning on the front then your boxes are 1962 and above.

Re: M-700 BDL Clip Conversion...Is it worth the hassle?
If your in a situation where your ammo is getting dirty your clip will also get dirty. Keep your items clean. Keep shooting safley. And be sure you get a good shot and practice practice. Every animal deserves a quick clean kill. And those of you that need a clip just so you know you can unload and l...

Re: M-700 BDL Clip Conversion...Is it worth the hassle?
Honestly why? Why would you really need a clip for it. Are you really shooting that many times while hunting and that quickley that you would need to carry a couple clips worth. Just my opinion all you should need are a couple shots anything more than that take the 79.00 and buy more ammo and practi...

Re: Remington Model 12C ejector question
Watch ebay. Alot of times people are selling original slides for the model 12. I would try my best just to get it back to original. If your the same guy who just sent in pictures of your model 12 it looks like you bought a nice one. You will look a long time to find a 22 better than the model 12. Ta...
