Re: M700 Lawsuits?
My 721 designed about the time I was serial 100,000 is to deluxe to take through the brush. It was also invented and designed by Charlie Walker and shoots dimes. The line is still forming for the writing of my will on this rifle and I hope it forms for several more years. Remingtons are for shooting...

Re: M700 Lawsuits?
The show was disturbing. The gun was not pointed in a safe direction. I purchased my first in 1965 new and its taken Elk and Deer. My second used manufactured in 1991 and its run ten boxes on the range without incident. My best friends have always stood by their rifles also. To me the interview with...

Re: Model 700 Question
k15 Frank was a good one and so were the other 16 Fallen in my Company. I have been experimenting with Factory loads. Remington, Federal, and Hornady. The Hornady rounds shoot tighter at 100. I used dual dovetail rings and bases manufatured by leupold. The scope is a Weaver V-9 steel case. The day I...

Re: Model 700 Question
k15 Thanks for the reply on this gunstock. I burned up 40 rounds this week at the range and this stock is a comfortable shoot. My reference to Uncle was SAM. I saw some stocks similiar on the first 700's. My buddy Frank Walters was issued one in sniper school but didn't have the oppurtunity to put i...

Re: Model 700 Question
Remington 600 Thanks for the quick response. Unfortunately I have no pic capability. I suppose if I gave up tobacco, gun powder, and buying my girl friend Salmon Fillets I could afford to enter the digital world in my 60th year. Of course then I would have to find a magic potion to stimulate the gra...

Model 700 Question
Model 700 Question Sirs, I acquired another neglected 700 which apparently had never been cleaned. After a lot of labor i've the bore shining bright and shoots just fine. I have removed the iron sights and mounted an old Weaver V-9. My question is the stock configuration. The stock is of unknown com...

Re: Rem 721 Help
Sgt. Murf, One year ago a friend of mine and I attended a Gun Show in search of a 721 .30-06 for him. After spotting some well used rifles I came upon a display with three 721's and a 725. The fellow said that these were late'40s and early '50s models. I replied "So am I!" which got a chuc...

This paricular modification could prove to be well worth the hassel should our streets and country roads become challenged by armed invaders.

Rem 725
Thanks for your reply. It seems this rifle and I were manufactured at about the same time. The stock has checkering , the trigger is not flat, and it has a Pachymauer basket weave recoil pad. I wonder if it was custom from the factory.
