good day all: the canadian co. that made a similar sight to the marbles sight was called watson. i have this sight on my m14 and it works very well. it has the two screws like the marbles but the wood screw goes in front of the stem. i have a jan 1936 (BE) m41 that has the same stamp as the one pictured and a may 1937(KF) m41p that has "the targetmaster m41p"
on the barrel.
i never noticed untill just now.
go figure.?!

good day all: i recently did a little comparison test between cil/dominion and remington .30 rem 170gr rnsp. the box of cil was from the late teens and the remington stuff came in an all green box. that old dominion/cil stuff is really snappy compared to the newer rem stuff. go ahead and shoot it up...

maybe if the price is right.
i've removed it from the rifle and replaced it with a marbles r8 tang sight.
how do you put a price on a rare sight like this,with nothing to compare it to?

but the A0 could be march 1994 and if the 0 is a poorly stamped Q.it would be march 1996 ????
who would know about a 700 like this
perhaps the serial # could give a more positve year of manufacture

i have a 1994 vintage m700 bdl in .222 rem and was wondering about the bottom metal,my rifle has a ram engraved on the floorplate.
was the ram on all the 700 bdl's or were there other options.
